Harley (Karyntay Nelja Tuulta) is a very special boy and I am extremely proud of him. He lives with his owner, Kathy, and a Burmese girl called Mia.
When Kathy contacted me about a kitten, she explained her disability and said that all she wanted was a kitten who would sit on her lap, and as you can see from the photos, he certainly does that. This is what Kathy has to say about him : "Harley is growing into a big handsome boy and I love him to bits and so does everybody else. Harley is more into lots of fuss and long brushes with the women in his life. Although he does like to chase Mia around the flat like a mad thing every now and again and to play football with her in the bath! He even likes sitting in my lap when I'm being hoisted out of my wheelchair regardless that the sling squashes him into my tummy."
To me, this is what a Maine Coon is all about - lovely temperament, big heart and warm nature. He has obviously made Kathy very happy. Kathy is an accomplished mouth painter and is a member of The Mouth and Foot Association. Below is a painting she has done which was inspired by Harley.
